Accounts for E-mail, Calendar, and other University Centrally Managed Systems

Once your degree is posted, you are no longer considered a Cal Poly student and are ineligible for e-mail, modem, or Central UNIX- server services or accounts through the university’s centrally managed systems.

Computing accounts of users who are not currently enrolled are marked for deletion. Timeframes vary for processing, but are less than 90 days from departing the university. Temporary E-mail Forwarding Services

Students may take advantage of temporary e-mail forwarding services that will stay in place up to one year after leaving Cal Poly. To change your e-mail delivery address, visit my.calpoly.edu and subscribe to the Cal Poly Portal "Personal Information" channel - then update your e-mail address. Please remember that this is a temporary forwarding service; for a lifetime Cal Poly alumni e-mail forwarding address, see below.

Alumni E-mail Forwarding Service

Click here to set up your very own lifetime e-mail name at yourname@alumni.calpoly.edu. This reflector site will forward all your e-mail to any account you specify. You also have access to change your criteria at any time and search the online e-mail database. This is a free service provided to all Cal Poly alumni by the Alumni Association.

PolyLink, Cal Poly's Online Community

PolyLink is a secure, private, protected web site open only to alumni and select Cal Poly staff. Access to PolyLink is free! PolyLink is a great place for career networking, alumni will be able to make contact with other Cal Poly Alumni from a wide variety of career levels and professional experiences across all fields of business and industry. Professionally established alumni will be able to give career advice and tips to young alumni.
